Collaborators:
USAMI is one of six International Materials Institutes. These IMIs are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation.
- USAMI: Princeton University
- ANSWER: University of Tennessee
- CoSMIC: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Florida International University and The University of Maryland
- I2CAM: University of California
- IMCR: University of California, Santa Barbara
- IMI-NFG: Lehigh University
Although each of the IMIs have their separate goals, the objective is to function as one global IMI in which interactions occur between the different IMIs. Current USAMI interactions with other IMIs include those with ANSWER, CoSMIC, ICMR, and IMI-NFG. More info on the IMI program can be found at the NSF website.
