Nigerian Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI)

The Nigerian government has just announced a Nanotechnology initiative that is a direct result of USAMI efforts over the past few years. The initiative was launched at Ajuba, Nigeria, by the Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Turner Isoun. The NNI is being coordinated by Professor Coliseum Adewoye (USAMI Fellow and Director General of the Nigerian Agency of Scientific and Engineering Infrastructure). The Director of USAMI, Prof. Wole Soboyejo, gave a keynote lecture at the launch of NNI.
