USAMI Travel Fellowships
The NSF-funded US/Africa Materials Institute (USAMI) at Princeton University is seeking applicants for travel fellowships to engage in materials research in African laboratories. The successful applicants will be fully supported for 4-6 weeks to travel to African laboratories where they can work with collaborators in ongoing research on biomaterials/tissue engineering, thin films/organic electronics, materials for affordable housing and structural materials. Applicants should be senior undergraduates with an interest in pursuing graduate studies in materials science or a related field. Current graduate students and post-doctoral researchers are also encouraged to apply. Please send your CV, the names of 3 references, and a one page statement of purpose to:

Travel Fellowships to Africa – MRS Meeting
The US/Africa Materials research Institute (USAMI) at Princeton University is seeking applicants for travel fellowships to attend the 4th meeting of the Africa MRS Meeting. The fellowships will support the airfare, registration and travel expenses for US graduate students, post-docs and faculty that would like to attend the meeting which will be held in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, from December 10 to 14, 2007. Applicants should be interested in developing collaborations in materials research and education with African researchers. Please send your one page statement of purpose and CV to:
